MADISON — State Superintendent Carolyn Stanford Taylor will honor 114 schools from all over Wisconsin during a ceremony at the Wisconsin State Capitol this Monday, May 20. The Wisconsin Title I Schools of Recognition, which represent communities all over Wisconsin, were announced last month.

These schools have achieved success in educating students from families who are economically disadvantaged.

During the noon awards ceremony in the State Capitol Rotunda, the Richland Center High School Symphonic Band, directed by Jeff Behrens, will perform. Jeanan Yasiri Moe, an executive business and communications consultant and director of strategic communications with the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation, will direct the presentation of awards. Stanford Taylor will give a welcome and present each school with a plaque commemorating their award.
