On January 4, 2024 at 10:30 a.m., the Department of Public Instruction (DPI) will hold a preliminary hearing on a scope statement to clarify renewal language for educational interpreters and orientation and mobility specialists. The hearing notice and preliminary scope statement are available on the Wisconsin Legislature's web page. The purpose of this hearing to consider public testimony on the scope statement under consideration. Individuals who submit written comments may do so via the Legislature’s form for submitting comments. Written comments received by the date of the hearing will be given the same consideration as testimony presented at the hearing.
