The Professional Development Plan (PDP) Writing FormDownload and Save The PDP Form The PDP Writing Form is a "fillable" Word document intended to guide an educator through the Professional Development Plan. In order to protect your personal information and to avoid losing your entries, it is highly recommended that you download a copy of the blank form to your personal computer before entering any information. First open the form from the DPI website, then using the "File - Save As" function, save a copy of the PDP Form in a specified location or folder on your personal computer. Close out of the Internet and then open Word and locate the saved form. You then have a copy of the PDP Writing Form that you can work on over time saved on your local computer. To enter text, position the cursor in a form field and click. Form fields that require narrative information will expand as you enter your responses. Press the Tab key to accept the field contents and move to the next field. To accept a field and move to a previous field, use Shift plus Tab. To move to the next page of the form, use the scroll bar on the right of your screen.
Write Your Professional Development Plan Instructions for completing a PDP may be found in the PDP Educator Toolkit
