STEM - Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics

STEM is vital for growing Wisconsin’s economy, critical to the personal aspirations of virtually all students—whether artists or scientists or financiers—and powerful enough to transform communities and improve our quality of life.

A quality education includes not only studies in each of the independent STEM subjects (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics), but also opportunities to integrate and apply STEM learning across many disciplines.

The DPI is a partner on the WISTEM.org portal, which compiles resources for educators, parents, students, recent graduates, business owners, and other community members.
