Milken Family Foundation National Educator Award Notification Ceremony

Greenfield, October 16, 2007

State Superintendent Elizabeth Burmaster visited Greenfield Middle School to surprise Reading Specialist Megan Dixon with the Milken Family Foundation National Educator Award.
The award carries with it a $25,000 prize. It is never announced in advance.
With the exception of Greenfield Superintendent Conrad Farner, school staff were told Burmaster was visiting simply to celebrate the school.
