Innovation Lab Schools

State Superintendent Tony Evers and Gene Wilhoit, executive director of the Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO),
visited Wisconsin Innovation Lab Network school sites on May 18, 2011.

The officials were very impressed with activities at the schools,
beginning with a Wales Elementary School kindergarten and continuing with
a fourth-grade classroom at Magee Elementary School in Genesee Depot.
Both these schools get kids involved in research at young ages.
The tour closed with a sixth-grade class at John Long Middle School in Grafton,
which focuses on developing a personalized learning environment.
