How Stuff Works is an immersion experience for students with disabilities who are interested in science, social sciences, technology, engineering and math (STEM). Parents and guardians are invited to a concurrent two-day program to learn more about opportunities for students with disabilities and STEM and how to support the transition to postsecondary education and careers. Includes time to explore the U of I campus

Title: TimeBank Conference: “Time for Justice: A Wealth for Opportunity.” Dane County has one of the fastest-growing, most diverse TimeBanks in the world, with a growing number of people with disabilities as full participants. TimeBanking offers opportunities for people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds to play important roles in community life.
Presenter: Gary Messenger, with years of experience in the developmental disabilities community, helps facilitate active giving and receiving of services among 1100 members.
