IDEA Part B Discretionary Grants

Program Description: IDEA Part B discretionary grants are distributed for statewide systems change initiatives to ensure the greatest impact on the maximum number of children in Wisconsin. The department is committed to maintaining statewide grants that are central to themes in IDEA. These statewide initiatives are listed below with links to websites, when available:

• REACh - Responsive Education for All Children
• Regional Service Network
• Statewide Transition Project
• Very Special Arts

Who is Eligible to Apply: An invitation process is used to address initiatives identified by the State Superintendent reflecting identified statewide needs.

Amount of Funds Available: Our FY2010 award is unknown at this time.
