Subject - Students Who Are Not Open Enrolled in 2011-12: Reporting in OPAL
 
 If a student is not open enrolled in the 2011-12 school year (for any reason), the nonresident district must report 
the student as not OE on the 3rd Friday in September tab.
 
If you are the resident district and have learned that the student has moved out of your district, into another 
resident district,  is attending school in your district, or any other changes affecting the student’s open enrollment, 
you should send an email to the nonresident district to follow up in OPAL.  
 
Nothing else should be done:  
 
--Do not withdraw the student. 
--Do not change the resident district for the student.
