State Special Education Categorical Aid WorksheetsWisconsin school districts, CESAs, CCDEBs, and charter schools are eligible for state special education categorical aid. Below are the appropriate adjustment sheets and the calculation sheets for Special Education Categorical Aid based on prior year expenditures in Fund 27 (special education fund) of the Annual Report to all eligible LEAs (CESAs, CCDEBs, public School Districts, and Charter Schools). The authorization for special education aid is found in s. 115.88, WI Stats., and the appropriation is listed under s. 20.255(2)(b), WI Stats. 2007-2008 Special Education State Categorical Aid Worksheets The design of the payment and adjustment worksheets has changed. Local education agencies will need to select their entity from a pull-down list for entity data to display. The finance team will no longer be mailing detailed payment information worksheets.
