Welcome

Welcome to the New School District Finance Administrator TEST website! Our specific target audience is the new public school business administrator, bookkeeper, or superintendent with financial responsibilities; however, anyone new to the school finance arena can benefit from this information.

The School Financial Services (SFS) team provides many resources to help new business administrators through their first few years. One of the most valuable tools a new administrator will use is the SFS website. While the main SFS Website contains vast amounts of information for public school finance managers, the volume of data, complexity of the profession, and steep learning curve suggested the need for a more basic, user-friendly, sequential website where information is organized and disseminated when districts are most likely to need or be looking for it. The SFS team also presents at many meetings and seminars throughout the State, develops internet tutorials and media-site presentations that provide instruction and information, and communicates important financial information via a weekly listserv message. We suggest you identify your many resources, as they will be a valuable support system for you.
