Instructions For PI-1505 Annual Report

Note: The program opens for district data entry on July 1, 2005. These instructions should be used after that date.

Introduction: The School Financial Services Team has created a "reporting portal" through which districts will access all required School Financial Service Team reports. These instructions are designed to guide district staff to the PI 1505 Annual Report program.

1. At the School Financial Services team web page, dpi.wi.us/sfs/index.html, select the link, "School Finance Reporting Portal."
2. Select your school district. You will then see your "district home" page for reporting.
3. There are two ways to go to the PI 1505 Annual Report.

   The first way is to select the link, "Status and Deadlines." See step number 4 below.

   The second way is to select the "Financial Data Home." See step number 5 below.

   Either method is acceptable.

4. Select the "Status and Deadlines" link.

   Scroll down and select the "FY 04-05 Annual Financial Report (PI 1505)" link. This will take you to the Annual Report page.

   On the Annual Reports page select the link, "2004-2005". You will be prompted for your user id and password.

   Enter your id and password and you will be taken to the "Welcome to the FY 2004-2005 Annual Report!" screen. You are ready to begin.

5. Select the link, "Financial Data Home."

   Select the link, "Annual Report (PI-1505, Internet)". This will take you to the Annual Reports page.

   On the Annual Reports page select the link, "2004-2005". You will be prompted for your user id and password.

   Enter your id and password and you will be taken to the "Welcome to the FY 2004-2005 Annual Report!" screen. You are ready to begin.

Timeline for the PI 1505

1. The program opens for district data entry on July 1, 2005.
2. Districts may only submit once the district’s auditor has submitted and the DPI has accepted the PI 1506AC.
3. The report is due no later than October 3, 2005.
