Estimating Formula Factors for Projection Purposes

School district business officials continually look into the future as they plan for the fiscal challenges that lie ahead. As a result, the Finance Team often receives inquiries regarding estimates of future equalization guarantees & cost ceilings, revenue limit details, and categorical aid prorations. This detailed information is often not available until just before the district needs to act.

To assist districts in projecting future formula factors, the following historical information has been compiled. While no one can actually predict the future, historical trends can inform future possible activity.
