Budget Development and Planning

Budget Development and Planning is a critical activity undertaken by districts every year. Finance managers begin by forecasting and projecting what may be on a district's fiscal horizon. Then, board members, administration, staff, students and other stakeholders meet and discuss how the budget can best support the district’s curricular and strategic goals. Decisions made during this critical process can certainly shape district teaching and learning for many years into the future.
