4. Apply for Enhancing Education Through Technology grants

Applications are invited for the 2008 Enhancing Education Through Technology (EETT) grants, which fund projects that raise student achievement by increasing technology literacy and enhancing educators' use of instructional technology.

Local education agencies with a minimum of 10% of their children in poverty (as determined by the 2005 U.S. Census) are eligible to apply. Partnerships must include a minimum of one poverty district.

For single district awards, the maximum grant amounts range from $5,000 to $50,000, depending on the district's size. For consortium awards, the maximum ranges from $50,000 to $100,000, depending on the number of districts involved.

Applications must be received by March 31, 2008. The application and supporting documents are posted on the DPI Instructional Media and Technology Team website.
