3. Kohl Fellowship nominations sought

The Herb Kohl Educational Foundation is seeking nominations for the Kohl Teacher Fellowship program, which honors teachers and supports the pursuit of their goals for their classrooms or professional development.

Working with the DPI, the Foundation awards 100 Wisconsin teachers with $1,000 Kohl Fellowship grants, and each Kohl Fellowship recipient's school receives a matching $1,000 grant. Teachers must be nominated by parents, teachers, students, community members, or school district administrators.

Start the process of nominating a teacher and view eligibility requirements at http://www.kohleducation.org/teachers/. Completed nomination forms must be submitted to the Department of Public Instruction no later than October 5, 2007.
