IMT regional meeting dates set

The topic for the Instructional Media and Technology (IMT) regional meetings this year will be 21st Century Skills and PK-12 Education: Moving from Literacy to Fluency. The meetings will be held:

• Thursday, October 5: Oconomowoc (Olympia Resort)
• Friday, October 6: Neenah (Bridgewood Resort)
• Thursday, October 12: Wisconsin Dells (Wintergreen Resort)
• Friday, October 13: Rice Lake (Turtleback Conference Center)

Thomas Stills, President of the Wisconsin Technology Council, will be the keynote speaker on October 5th and 12th. David J. Ward, president of Northstar Economics, will be the keynote speaker on October 6th. Richard Grobschmidt, Assistant State Superintendent of Schools, will be the keynote speaker on October 13th.

Also featured will be presentations by the Educational Communications Board, TeachingBooks.com, the Illinois Math and Science Academy, and local projects funded by the "Enhancing Education through Technology Program" of ESEA.
