WEMA conference set for March 5-7The 2006 Wisconsin Educational Media Association / Brainstorm combined spring conference will be held March 5-7 at the Kalahari Resort & Convention Center in Wisconsin Dells. This year's theme is Lightning in Paradise. This is a special opportunity to attend a concurrent conference between Brainstorm and WEMA. A keynote bridging the gap between technology and library/media areas will be featured. Participants can attend the same great conference(s) as in the past but now with the choice to attend WEMA specific sessions, brainstorm specific sessions, or choose a combination that works for you. Keynote presenters will include nationally recognized speakers Ian Jukes, Director of the InfoSavvy Group; Nancy A.S. Miller, developer of the Impact! software for documenting LMC program accountability; and children's author Pam Muņoz Ryan. Featured events include a pre-conference workshop by AASL president-elect Cyndi Phillips on the partnership between AASL and 21st Century Learning Skills; sessions on one-to-one computing presented by Apple; and a unique opportunity to participate in a joint session with the Consortium for School Networking's (CoSN) National Conference in Washington, D.C.
