New Film Releases Coming to Accessible Theaters Near You

As MoPix installations pop up across the country, more audio-described feature films are being released than ever before! The following feature films are either now playing - or are coming soon - to a MoPix-equipped theater in your area. (Titles and release dates are subject to change).

  • Ray (Universal Pictures): starring Jamie Foxx.
  • The Incredibles (Walt Disney Pictures, Pixar Animation Studios Film).
  • The Polar Express (Warner Bros. Pictures): starring Tom Hanks, Peter Scolari and Michael Jeter.
  • Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason (Universal Pictures): starring Renee Zellweger and Hugh Grant.
  • Alexander (Warner Bros. Pictures): starring Colin Farrell, Angelina Jolie and Anthony Hopkins.
  • Christmas with the Kranks (Sony Pictures): starring Tim Allen and Jamie Lee Curtis.
  • Ocean's Twelve (Warner Bros. Pictures): starring George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Julia Roberts.
  • Spanglish (Sony Pictures): starring Adam Sandler.

Announcements:

If you want a Bible to use online (not downloaded to your computer), you may go to http://www.biblegateway.com. 18 different English translations of the Bible are there. A powerful "advanced Search" allows you to look up a verse or passage, or to search for specific words, phrases, or something you vaguely remember. Several audio versions (KJV and NIV) are available by clicking the "Listen to This" button. Versions include NIV, KJV, The Message, et. al. All work splendidly with WE. In addition, the site offers commentaries and other resources that also work extremely well with screen readers.
