OCLC Report Description

Borrower Statistics:
Data is taken from the OCLC Group (Wisconsin libraries) Borrower Transaction-Level Detail Report.

Public libraries and public library systems are included under their own code. Academic libraries are grouped and include public and private academic libraries and technical colleges. The Other library group includes state government libraries, WiLS, Reference and Loan Library, hospital, corporate and other types of libraries.

This report includes in-state and out-of-state requests. This report does count requests initiated more than once if a symbol is used multiple times in the lender string and the same request is routed to the same lender multiple times.

Borrowing library fill rate is calculated by dividing requests filled by requests initiated.
