A title list current as of April 2003 of the VHS videocassettes available for free loan from the Reference and Loan Library. If you do not find what you are looking for, you may submit an e-mail request for reference help by filling out a Subject Request Form.

 Native Americans
A special annotated list of VHS videocassettes, DVDs, sound recordings, and other audiovisual materials about Native Americans available for free loan from the Reference and Loan Library.

Instructions for searching Videos in WISCAT

Enter word search information:

Use the arrow for the Search By box to select All Headings, Author, Title, Subject, or Notes.

Or,

Click on the And/Or/Not button to combine indexed fields for a more refined search.

Enter search term(s) in the For box(es). Such terms as "VHS", "Beta", and "DVD" may be used, but may not retrieve every item available in the format because the term does not always appear in one of the indexed fields.

Use the arrow for the Sort Results By box to make another selection if desired. Note that if more than 1000 titles are retrieved, they will only be sorted by the default choice, Newest Titles First.

Qualify search by Media:
  • Click on Click Here to Select Media
  • Scroll down and check the box for Visual Materials
  • Click on Submit
  • Click on the Start Search button

Scroll through the list of retrieved titles to find videorecordings. If the brief description does not include enough information to indicate the video format, click on the title for a full bibliographical description. For information on borrowing videos, please contact your local Public library.
