This booklet from the Opening Doors series leads the reader through a process of thinking about, making decisions, planning toward, and acting on plans for life after high school. Specifically, this publication is a tool for students with disabilities to use as they begin to plan for a successful future.
Using this publication, each student can consider his or her strengths and weaknesses, plan a high school experience that will achieve specific goals, explore possibilities for work and a career, and identify the next steps for life after high school.
Opening Doors to Postsecondary Education and Training advances students forward into a productive adulthood. The booklet can be used by individual students, families, IEP teams, classes, teachers, and small student groups.
