Teen Cake Box Project for Food Pantries

Creating a birthday celebration in a box for families who use food pantries.

Ask teens to bring:

Sealed cake mix Box of candles Napkins Small books or toys Baking pan

Can of frosting Paper plates Party hats Balloons Sprinkles

Provide teens with cake boxes or small boxes and decorating supplies:

Glitter pens Glue Collage materials Markers & crayons Scissors

Ribbon Tissue paper Stickers Stamps

Turn on some music, have plenty of room to spread out, some snacks, and spend a fun afternoon with your teens decorating and filling cake boxes.

Alert the media for some publicity and deliver the boxes to the local food pantry.
