WSAS Demographic Data Collection

WSAS Demographic Data and Pre-ID Label Production for the Wisconsin Knowledge and Concepts Examinations - (WKCE)

**ATTENTION**

Enrollment and 3rd Friday data will be used to create WSAS student labels!

The Department of Public Instruction will create student demographic pre-ID labels for WSAS testing this fall for all Wisconsin Public School Districts. Districts will no longer use the WSAS Data Collection Software, or "bubble" all of the district's students demographic information on the test books. DPI will use the WSLS and ISES databases to create the labels, and they will be shipped to districts before the fall 2006 test window. In order to make this process as easy as possible during the busy test window, please do the following:

  1. Update WSLS records and ISES "Grade Level Placement" field before Monday, October 1, 2007
  2. Update all WSLS records before Monday, October 29, 2007
  3. Update and verify all WSAS related ISES fields before Friday, November 26, 2007

Failure to do these three things may result in confusing and inaccurate pre-ID labels, erroneous WSAS Reports, and/or invalid accountability determinations. District Assessment Coordinators and District WSLS/ISES administrators should work together to accomplish this task.
