Jennifer James is a cultural anthropologist, lecturer, writer, and commentator, who is known to audiences around the world for her innovative ideas. She works on an international level with educational agencies, corporations, and associations helping people meet the challenges of today's transitions that require thinking in different ways. Her speeches and seminars deal with the human face of technological change and the development of cultural intelligence. Dr. James is a specialist in areas of cultural change, diversity, and marketing intelligence.

Plan now to attend the 2009 New Wisconsin Promise Conference at the beautiful Monona Terrace in downtown Madison, Wisconsin. National and state education innovators, school leaders, and classroom teachers will share their knowledge and expertise in the following areas: 21st Century skills; district and school improvement; and engagement in learning. Registration for the conference is open. Keep in mind, previous conferences have reached capacity early. This is a "must attend" conference to include in your professional development continuum for the coming year.

  A pre-conference session is offered for a limited number of participants on January 12, 2009.
• To Present at the Conference
  Presentation proposals are being accepted until September 12, 2008.
• To Perform at the Conference
  Proposals for school music groups to perform are welcome until September 28, 2008.
