Wisconsin 2002 Team Nutrition Project

2002 Team Nutrition project is focusing on helping schools and childcare centers and homes improve their nutrition environments. Ten (10) schools or school districts, 10 childcare centers and 20 family day care homes will be selected to participate in this project.  The project period for the schools will be October 2002 through June, 2004.  The project period for the childcare settings will be about February 2003 through June 2004.  As they define and work on their action plans, we will post the project descriptions and progress made on this website, including resources and trainings that the school staff have found helpful.

One of the outcomes of the 2002 Team Nutrition Project will be an update of the publication, What's Right for Kids–Improving the School Nutrition Environment (disseminated in November/December 2003). A second outcome of the 2002 Team Nutrition Project is publication of Best Practices and Models for Improving the Childcare Nutrition Environment (disseminated in September 2004).
