Initial Count Date and Year End Submission Period Begins
On-line data entry and/or batch data uploads of 2007-08 year end records and 2008-09 count date records should be completed during this Initial ISES Submission Period. Validate and edit district data as necessary addressing all district data errors and warnings.

WSLS and ISES Count Date and Year End Applications Closed for Creation of WSAS Roster File #1
District data in WSLS should be as current as possible by this time. District data in ISES count date records should include current grade level placement and, if possible, other data. This file will be used for WSAS testing label shipment #1. The WSLS on-line application and the ISES Count Data & Year End on-line application will be temporarily unavailable during the generation of the roster file.

Initial Discipline Submission Period Ends
Complete ISES Discipline data are due at DPI. All districts should be locked by this time.

Discipline Review and Revision Period for Districts
ISES Discipline will remain open during this time and until October 24 to allow districts to review and finalize ISES Discipline data.
October 7-24, 2008
October 1 Child Count for Students with Disabilities Submission Due Date
All districts must submit or acknowledge no changes between 9/19 and 10/1 for students with disabilities.

Final ISES Discipline data are due at DPI. Al districts should be locked by this time.

Initial Count Date and Year End Submission Period Ends
Complete ISES Count Date and Year End data are due at DPI. All districts should be locked by this time.

Statewide Count Date and Year End Record Validation
ISES Count Date and Year End on-line application and the WSLS on-line application will be closed for approximately one week for statewide validation.
October 27-30, 2008
WSLS and ISES Count Date and Year End Applications Closed for Creation of WSAS Roster File #2.
This file will be used for WSAS testing label shipment #2. Label shipment #2 will not include students in label shipment #1. The WSLS and ISES Count Date & Year End on-line applications will be unavailable during creation of the roster file.

Count Date and Year End Review and Revision Period for Districts
The statewide validation process will unlock previously locked districts if new errors are found. If your district is unlocked, then review your Info, Warning and Error Reports in ISES; see checklist beginning with step #4. Both locked and unlocked districts are strongly encouraged to preview draft progress and summary reports during this period. Correct remaining errors (DPI will unlock districts upon request), address any unacknowledged warnings, and lock and submit final district data.
November 3-24, 2008 (3 weeks)
Count Date and Year End Due Date
Final ISES data are due at DPI, and the collection is closed. No corrections to 2007-08 year end records or 2008-09 count date records are accepted after this date.
November 24, 2008, 8 AM
Creation of WSAS Roster File #3 (Final File).
This file will be used in the WSAS Record Editing System, for AYP, and to create final WSAS reports.
December 2008
Creation of Statewide ACCESS for ELLs Pre-ID File.
The statewide ACCESS Pre-ID file will be used by MetriTech for Pre-ID purposes. District ACCESS Pre-ID files will not be accepted.
