WSLS/ISES Update

ACCESS for ELL DOWNLOAD SCREEN

A screen to download the ACCESS for ELL Roster is now available. You can download an ACCESS for ELL Roster file from the system to edit and send to Metritech or to check that what has already be sent is accurate. Please note that only the data collected in ISES will be populated in this file.

STATEWIDE VALIDATION

On Oct 31, 2006, 8 AM, ISES will close for statewide validation. ISES will reopen approximately one week later when the Review and Revision Period begins.

WSAS ROSTER FILE #2

At 8 AM on Oct 31, 2006, DPI will generate the WSAS roster file #2. The file will include all students in WSLS with an enroll date on or before October 31 and no exit date if, based on available ISES/WSLS data, the student appears to be in a WSAS testing grade. WSAS testing contractor, CTB, will use this file to generate a second set of testing labels for students not included in WSAS label shipment #1.

ISES REVIEW AND REVISION PERIOD

The ISES Review and Revision period will be from 8 AM on Tuesday, Nov 7, 2006 to 4 PM Wednesday Nov 22, 2006. This period is for review of the progress and summary reports and error correction. It is not intended for initial data submission. No corrections to 2005-06 year end records or 2006-07 count date records will be accepted after November 22 which is the ISES Lock Down date. It is very important that current ISES collection closes on November 22 in order to facilitate use of ISES data for required purposes this year. Please plan accordingly.
