OCTOBER 1 CHILD COUNT REVIEW

A new Progress and Summary report 'Child Count Enrollment for Students with Disabilities' is available from the ISES Count Date / Year End Report Menu. This report has been populated based on data submitted as of Thursday, October 16th. This report should be reviewed by your district Director of Special Education. The following options will produce a simple summary of enrollment of students with disabilities on October 1, 2008.

Compare To: No Option Selected

View By Option 1: Age on Count Date

Please make corrections for missing and inaccurate data to the October 1 Supplement of Child Count and ISES Third Friday of September Count Date records.

Note that if your district missed the due date for submission of the October 1 Supplement for Child Count data or if ISES Count Date records for the Third Friday of September were not submitted as of Thursday, October 16th, that the Child Count Progress and Summary report will not accurately reflect the count of students with disabilities in your district. Submit the missing records as soon as possible.

Unlike other ISES Progress and Summary reports, the 'Child Count Enrollment for Students with Disabilities' is static as of 10/16/2008 and will not change as ISES Count Date or October 1 Supplement data is submitted or modified. In late October the report will be repopulated to reflect district additions and changes.

DISCIPLINE REVIEW AND REVISION PERIOD CLOSING OCTOBER 24 AT 8 AM

The Discipline Review and Revision period is nearly over. All districts should be complete and locked by 8 AM on Friday, October 24th. Many districts remain unlocked in the Discipline application. Please log in and verify that this message appears on the Main Menu 'District ISES Discipline records are locked. No modification of discipline data is allowed.' indicating that the District Lock has successfully been set.

ISES COUNT DATE AND YEAR END INITIAL SUBMISSION DEADLINE - OCTOBER 27 AT 8 AM

Important Dates for the ISES

WSLS and ISES UNAVAILABLE OCTOBER 27 - 30

The WSLS and ISES applications will be closed from October 27th to October 30th while the ISES Count Date / Year End State Wide Validation is completed. The applications will reopen for the ISES Count Date / Year End Review and Revision period from November 3rd to 24th.
