August ISES Training

The Department of Public Instruction plans to hold ISES training sessions at each of the twelve CESAs in August. The ISES training will provide an overview of the changes in ISES for the Fall 2006 collection, solutions to common problems, best practices, use of reports to check the quality of data, and an opportunity to discuss local practices and concerns with school staff. Also, a new Help Desk Tool will be introduced which schools may use to communicate their questions to DPI. As some knowledge of ISES will be a prerequisite to this training, a separate online presentation covering the basic functions of the ISES should be reviewed by new staff prior to attending an August training session. More information regarding this online presentation will be provided at a later date.

The ISES contacts that enter the data are encouraged to attend.
