SUBJECT: April WSLS Training by DPI

DPI is offering training designed for school district personnel who are assigning Wisconsin Student Numbers (WSN's) through the Wisconsin Student Locator System (WSLS). The training is designed for new staff assigned to entering WSN's and for those who need a refresher session. There will be an opportunity for questions and answers.

There will be two training sessions offered in Madison - one at DPI on Monday, April 24, and one at WASDA (Wisconsin Association of School District Administrators) Headquarters on Wednesday, April 26, and a session offered in Wausau at the Westwood Conference Center on Tuesday, April 25. The sessions are from 1 - 4 p.m. Personnel should sign up through the electronic registration system on the web at http://www2.dpi.state.wi.us/workshops/workshop_locations.asp?event=11. The session conducted at the WASDA Headquarters will be videostreamed on the web at the same time that it is being conducted live. Individuals can follow along at their own computer. They will see the presentation as well as the PowerPoint. They do not need to register. It will also be stored for later viewing. The link to follow the web presentation on Wednesday, April 25 is http://wasda.mediasite.com/wasda/viewer/?peid=66208625-699c-4095-9f5d-69fa26db1db8

If you have questions, you may contact me; however I will be out of the office from April 11 - April 13.
