ISES - TIMELINE

The ISES Year End and Count Date collection will open mid-summer for collection of 2007-08 Year End records. The ISES Year End and Count Date collection will remain a single on-line application for the summer / fall 2008 collection. The ISES Discipline collection will open shortly after the ISES Year End and Count Date application. The ISES October 1 Supplement for Students with Disabilities will be required once again for 2008-09. This information will be publicized to Districts in the near future.

ISES - INTERFACE SPECIFICATIONS FOR COUNT DATE / YEAR END

The ISES Interface Specifications, http://www.dpi.wi.gov/lbstat/isesspec.html, for 2008-09 Third Friday of September Count Date and 2007-08 Year End collection have been published. New data elements and new code sets, http://www.dpi.wi.gov/lbstat/isesprepar.html#step_f, have been introduced. The interface specifications for 2008-2009 October 1 Supplement for Students with Disabilities and 2007-08 Discipline collections have not yet been published.

ISES – VENDOR TRAINING

A training session will be held for vendors and technical staff who develop school information software to work with the ISES. This session will present changes including new data elements, business rules and new file layouts for the Individual Student Enrollment System collections for summer/fall 2008. The session will be held in Room 041, of GEF 3 in Madison on Tuesday, March 25, from 9:00 - 3:30 p.m. To register send your name and company or district name to dpistats@dpi.wi.gov with 'ISES Vendor Conference Registration' in the subject line.
