More than 8.1 million children across the United States start their day with the School Breakfast Program, a Federal program that provides States with cash assistance for non-profit breakfast programs in schools and residential child care institutions.

Kohl Breakfast Start Up and Participation Improvement Grants

Senator Herbert Kohl has come through for Wisconsin's children once again by sponsoring legislation for start-up and participation improvement school breakfast grants. The purpose of the grants is to increase the number of children with access to morning nutrition.
