Description
In December 2002, President Bush announced the addition of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) to his Faith-Based and Community Initiative. The guiding principle behind President Bushs Faith-Based and Community Initiative is that all social service providers, including faith-based charities, should be able to compete on an equal footing for public dollars to provide public services.
