Wisconsin FBLA Summer Chapter Officer Training

The annual Wisconsin FBLA Summer Local Chapter Officer Training is an event for you to bring incoming chapter officers or chapter leaders together to participate in leadership development and get lots of work done on your local program of work for the 2011-2012 school year. Additionally, the BITs & Pieces Summer Update will provide opportunities for teachers and advisers to exchange valuable insight, learn about new programs, receive updates, share curriculum, network and more.

This event will be hosted by Corey Flournoy, a nationally renowned speaker and trainer. With the assistance from the state officer team, Corey will assist your local leaders in building perspectives of their roles, responsibilities, and get them “pumped” for the year. Planned topics of concentration include TEAM BUILDING, COMMUNICATION, RECRUITMENT, CHAPTER MANAGEMENT and much more!

This event will be offered at the Chula Vista Resort in Wisconsin Dells from July 26-27, 2011. Cost is $40 for both days (includes snacks on 7/26 and breakfast and lunch on 7/27) or $35 for just Wednesday (includes breakfast and lunch).

While your students are doing training, each adviser is encouraged to register for and participate in the BITS & Pieces Summer Update. Separate registration is required (on same form). Not bringing students? No problem…you can attend the update regardless!

Want to spend an extra day at Chula with your group doing your own leadership training…no problem. Chula will honor our rates for Monday or Wednesday night, as well.

Event Registration is due at the State Office on July 1. The sample agenda including chapter work time is provided as the first page of this document.

Please contact the hotel directly per lodging reservations. A limited block of rooms are available - see Housing Information and Housing Registration for specific rates & reservation procedure.
