Supplemental Educational Services (SES) Provider PageSupplemental Educational Services (SES) tutoring must be provided by a school district that has any schools that have not made Adequate Yearly Progress for three consecutive years. Any individual, group, or organization may apply to become a provider of SES tutoring. Each year the Department of Public Instruction (DPI) takes applications in the spring for organizations wishing to offer services the following school year. Once an organization is approved to provide service in Wisconsin that organization will remain on the list as long as all reporting and compliance requirments are met. SES providers must also have formal contracts with school districts before enrolling students and offering services. The DPI conducts formal monitoring of a sample of providers every year.
