To meet the unique needs of rural, low-income schools for the purposes of teacher recruitment and retention and increased student achievement.

Rural public schools that have a locale code of 6, 7, or 8, AND have a poverty rate of 20% or greater, AND are not eligible for the Small, Rural School Achievement Program.

Homeless Education

Provide activities and services to homeless children, including preschool-aged and unaccompanied youth to help them succeed in school. Remove barriers to their enrollment and participation.
