Communities across Wisconsin are working to expand options for serving young children with disabilities in community based settings. More school districts and Birth to 3 programs are consulting with child care programs to help support children with disabilities that are in the child care environment during the day. Whether it is called natural environments, least restrictive environment, or inclusive child care there are more and more good web sites that can assist in developing philosophies, strategies, and supports for these efforts.
