New Programs and New Staff Training for the Annual Commodity Order
USDA Commodity Distribution Program
This session is designed to prepare you for placing your annual commodity order. The training session will cover the basics of planning for an annual order (i.e., what commodities to order, the amounts to order, when to receive the commodities, etc.). Due to time and space limitations, this class is only available to new food service staff and programs new to the commodity program.

USDA Commodity Annual Ordering Period
USDA Commodity Distribution Program
For the 2010-2011 school year, the annual order must be placed between December 15, 2009 and January 10, 2010. In order to receive commodities for the entire 2010-2011 school year and SY 2011-12 fruits and vegetables for September 2011 through December 2011, an order must be placed during this time-period.
