Thailand

The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction and the Thailand Department of Education signed an agreement on student, teacher, and administrator cooperation in 2005. Visits from and to Thailand have led to many personal and professional friendships.

For the third year in a row, a group of 25 students from Thailand visited Wisconsin schools. The group arrived on Saturday, April 18 and left for home stays in five school districts on April 19. The group returned to Madison on May 6 for a farewell event, a day in Madison, and for their return flight to Bangkok on May 8.
