Private Scholarships.

Data Match National Scholarship Program for high school seniors. Ten different scholarships will be awarded by June 15, 2005. Application must be postmarked no later than May 15, 2005. (Application and complete information on website.)

  • Five $1000 scholarships will be awarded to students involved in Student Council, National Honor Society, FBLA, FCCLA, and DECA.
  • Scholarships awarded apply to full-time enrollment at a two- or four-year college or university.
  • Recipient must graduate from high school in the 2004-2005 academic school year and must be actively involved in the school organization they are applying under to be eligible.
  • Scholarships will be awarded based on the applicant's leadership abilities, participatiton in clubs, scholastic achievment, and community involvement.

FBLA Scholarships and Awards (FBLA/PBL). Search on "scholarship."

Community Organizations. Many groups offer scholarship help, such as unions, Rotary, Elks Club, American Legion, 4H Club, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Chamber of Commerce, PTA, or others. Check out various patriotic, civic, and fraternal organizations, religious and ethnic groups, and social and professional clubs in your community.

Employers.

Professional, Career, and Trade Associations. Special talents, athletic abilities, or other special skills - ask student's art or shop teacher, coach or bandmaster about schools and colleges looking for students with special abilities. Scholarship leads may be listed in magazine related to special interests and skills. At the library you can ask for directories of scholarships and loans offered by professional, career, and trade associations in your career or proposed field of study

U. S. Army.

Wisconsin Air National Guard.

U. S. Veterans Administration.

National Merit Scholarships., artistic talents, athletic abilities, or other special skills. Available to students who score exceptionally well on the PSAT. See Terms

Cooperative Education. - Allows students to alternate work and school. Students may take time off from school to work in career-related jobs off campus, receive academic credit for that work experience, and return to school in good standing.
